Resplendence, a blog from Radiant Resolution about graphic design

Contest Time

I love entering design contests, though I am notorious for always being the runner-up. I finally broke that record! I entered a t-shirt design contest for the Maryland Fund for Horses. The theme was to show how much you loved horses. When thinking about how much I loved horses (stick with me, getting deep), all I could think was that horses are love. They are forgiving, generous creatures that allow us to do crazy things like put a saddle on them and jump them over an obstacle. They are therapeutic. They heal. And they don't hold grudges. They are amazing animals. (Ok, for the non-horse-lovers, rant over.) Three finalists were chosen and my design was selected by a public voting-based system. The design will appear on t-shirts that will be available through the organization in a few weeks. You can "like" the organization on Facebook for more information.
