Client Success Story: Back to School

Although the end of summer is a sad reminder for me that winter is coming, I have to remember that the beauty of fall is near. The beautiful weather reminds me of the excitement of a new school year, heading off to college, and the busy season for designing! Recently, I collaborated with a relative (a new grad student at Indiana University) to design a new identity for the Briscoe Fitness & Wellness Center. The logo now appears on t-shirts and banners around the school. This wasn't the first college design work I've completed. I've done logos for Frostburg State University's alumni lacrosse team, as well as University of Maryland, Baltimore County's equestrian club. I love to work with schools, sports teams and clubs to design something that gets them excited about their organization or institution.

It was important to showcase the overall wellness and health of the students involved at BRISCOE. Yes, it is a gym, but more importantly it embodies a healthy mind and attitude as well. This is showcased in the organic "flow" from leaves to the negative space of a person in movement.
